How we handle what you share.
Draft for review - not yet final. Retention periods marked [proposed] are pending approval.
Clearpath Ops (2807347 Alberta Ltd.), based in Edmonton, Alberta, runs clearpathops.ca. This notice explains what we collect through the site, why, and what we do with it. We keep it short on purpose.
What we collect
- Start With the Bottleneck conversations. What you type about your business and its operations, the summary you confirm, and any edits you make.
- Contact details you choose to give us: name, company, email, and optionally phone - only after you've seen your summary.
- Basic technical data needed to run and protect the site, such as a one-way scrambled form of your IP address used for rate limiting. We don't use advertising trackers.
Please don't share passwords, account logins, payment details, or government ID numbers. If something like that is typed in, we try to remove it automatically before it's stored.
Why we use it
To understand your request, review it, and reply to you about it. We don't sell your information and we don't use it for unrelated marketing.
AI assistance
The conversation is guided by an AI assistant run on Clearpath Ops' behalf. What you type is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate the questions and a draft summary. The assistant isn't a person and doesn't make decisions about you; Clearpath Ops reviews submitted summaries. Anything labelled "preliminary" is an automated first read, not a diagnosis or quote.
Who else handles it
Service providers that help us run the site and respond to you: our hosting provider (Netlify), our AI provider (Anthropic), and our email provider (Microsoft 365). They process information on our behalf to provide those services. Some of these providers may process data outside Canada.
How long we keep it
- Conversations you start but don't send: deleted automatically after 30 days. [proposed]
- Summaries you send us: kept for 24 months after you send them, unless we start working together, in which case they become part of our client records. [proposed]
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing dallas@clearpathops.ca. We handle personal information in line with Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act and applicable Canadian privacy law.
